The recording originates from a waterfall in Zimbabwe. In Batoka / Tokalea / Toka-Leya they call it  Shungu na Mutitima, Heavy Mist that Sounds. In Kololo/Lozi, Mosi-oa-Tunya, The Smoke that Thunders. In English, Victoria Falls. The air is saturated, wet through with sound.

Funnel, vent, snorkel, or acoustic apparatus. Together they emit low, pulsating frequencies in the 30–45 Hz range. Frequencies that are felt more than heard, frequencies with which the objects—as well as any body in contact with them—resonate.
